Dan-Mikael Ellingsen joins the Napadow lab!

February 4, 2015

On Wednesday, we welcomed Dan-Mikael with lunch, care of our very own lab culinary consultant, Ishtiaq, and had the pleasure of hearing about his work on placebo’s positive effects on pain (analgesia), pleasure (hyperhedonia), and the shared neurocircuitry underlying both.

Dan-Mikael was recently awarded his PhD in Neurophysiology from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden, where he studied the central modulation of affective touch, pain, and emotions in humans.
