The leavs are turning, the temperatures are dropping, and the Napadow Lab has had lots to celebrate in recent weeks! Here are a few recent hightlights:
- Roberta Sclocco has been awarded with one of three 2022 Osher Pilot Research Grants from the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine. Her project, “Body Region-Specific Effects in the Neuromodulation of the Brain-Gut Axis in Functional Dyspepsia”, will combine brain and gastric MRI to investigate the changes evoked by electrical stimulation applied to different body locations. The Osher Center for Integrative Medicine focuses on enhancing human health, resilience, and quality of life through translational research, clinical practice, and education in integrative medicine.
- Members of the lab attended the 2022 IASP World Conference on Pain in Toronto. The Napadow Lab was well represented by = and a great time was had by all! Pictured: Alessandra presenting at her poster.
- The lab celebrated Dr. Ronald Garcia receiving his Green Card. Pictured: The Napadow Lab celebrating with cake in the conference room!
