People Role: Clinical Research Assistant

I graduated from Cornell University in May 2024 with a B.S. in Nutritional Science. During my undergraduate studies, I was in a neuroscience lab at Stony Brook University researching Major Depressive Disorder. Additionally, I was in a nutrition lab at Cornell studying iron absorption after consuming vitamin D infused chickens and placenta efficiency. I am currently working with Dr. Roberta Sclocco to understand the mechanisms of the gut-brain axis using brain and stomach MRI imaging. I am fascinated by the intricacies of the gut-brain axis and am dedicated to understanding how adverse events within this system affect patients with functional dyspepsia and/or gastroparesis. Outside of the lab, my interests include cooking, running, fencing and spending time with my friends and family.
